This year, we've fallen back on that old Dallas icon Red Pegasus to act as a tour guide to the greatest shopping, dining, nightlife and recreation in the city. Why Red Pegasus? Because the old Magnolia Oil Co. logo, later Mobil's, long shone atop Dallas' tallest building, visible to passing airplane pilots, and became the city's most visible symbol, an enduring sign that beneath all that's shiny and new in Dallas lies a city with a history.
